Born in the New York streets of the 1970s, before exploding across the world throughout the 1980s and beyond, the culture of Hip-Hop has consistently provided individuals with a platform through which to express their thoughts, life stories and opinions via honest and undiluted expression.

In 2020, Leicester-based lyricist Strizzy Strauss is here to carry that same torch forward. Wearing an unapologetically British accent proudly on his sleeve, Strauss brings classic boom bap firmly into 21st century Britain with the release of his debut full-length album “Trust The Process”.

Set for release on July 31st, “Trust The Process” marks Strizzy Strauss’s first substantial body of work since the release of “The Art Of Summarising Life” and the beginning of a new partnership with independent label ie.Records.

A clear hallmark of growth for Strauss on both a personal and creative level, the debut album is set to further enhance his reputation as a genuine artist, a contender and a voice of the everyday person.

Strizzy Strauss is here to remind us all that when life is hard and the struggle is real, you have to stay strong and believe in yourself.
